Cashie ("we", "us") makes a personal money app for iPhone. We believe a money app should be calm and private. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
Who we are

What we collect
- The info you enter. Your transactions, goals, categories, settings, and an optional first name you type in. This is what powers the app, and it lives on your device.
- An anonymous ID (only if cloud sync is on). Cashie has no login. If cloud sync is enabled, your data syncs under a random, anonymous identifier so it can move across your devices. We do not collect your name from Apple, your email address, or your contacts.
- Subscription status. Whether you have an active Cashie Pro subscription, processed through Apple and our subscription provider. We do not receive your full payment card details.
- Usage and diagnostics. Basic, aggregated information about how the app is used and any crashes, so we can fix bugs and improve the product.
What we do not do
We do not sell your personal data. We do not show third-party ads. We do not access your bank login credentials.
Why we use it
- To run core features like Safe to Spend, logging, and goals.
- To sync your data securely across your devices.
- To process and restore your subscription.
- To diagnose problems and improve the app.
Service providers we use
We share limited data with trusted providers only so the app can function:
- Apple — subscription billing through the App Store. See Apple's Privacy Policy.
